Aaron Jennings recaps the action at the second annual Future50 Camp&Showcase.

LEBANON, Mo. — The second annuall SWMO Basketball Future 50 Showcase brought together many of the region’s top players to Lebanon High. Here is a look at the Class of 2023-2024 girl’ basketball players at the event. The players are listed by the team they played on and their jersey number.

Team E Alex Boyer

(PLAYER, CLASS, SCHOOL, HT, NUMBER)

Jacy Bray                  2024 Spokane       5’6    1

A spot-up shooter who can find her stroke quickly. When she is comfortable, she can make big plays. She can also handle the ball some and score inside and around the mid-range area. She hustles and she chases a loose ball inside or is rebounding

 

 

Ashtyn Callaway      2024 Niangua       5’7    3

An athletic guard, Callaway can knock down a 3-pointer with deep range well beyond the arc, can score in transition and has a strong mid-range game with the ability to find her own path and make shots with a hand in his face.

 

 

Breona Hurd            2024 Waynesville 6’0    7

A talented all-around player with terrific size and athleticism who plays beyond her years. She has great height and can fight for the ball and score under pressure. She moves in and out of the lane and blocks shots, rebounds and shoots an outside jumper.

 

 

Madyson Majors   2023 Nevada        5’2    36

A solid point guard who can play off the ball. She likes to gamble on defense and she is good at jumping lanes and knocking away passes. Majors is also a smart player and is good at getting open looks at shooting before her opponents can try to block her shot.

 

 

Abby McBride          2024 Marshfield   5’6    14

A quick, skilled player from Marshfield who can handle pressure up top and get anywhere she needs to on the floor. She plays off the ball as well and can score inside as she uses her frame to feel for an opening.

 

 

 

Reagan McInturff    2023 Neosho        5’11 38

A tall forward who brings length and good thinking to the floor. She has a high basketball IQ and can show off her post moves and have easy buckets around the glass. She can finish through contact and can play physical if the game becomes it.

 

 

Ariana Mosley                     2024 Carver          5’3    17

A scrappy guard who is quick and can finish off-balance. Mosley has great feel for the floor and can pass, shoot and defend well. She plays with a great pace and makes great decisions with the ball.

 

 

 

Adrien Neill             2024 Lockwood    5’6    18

A good wing/guard who runs quickly and can finish in traffic in full court settings. She can rebound on both ends and isn’t knocked off his path when he leaves the floor. A slasher who plays well when the game is physical.

 

 

Zoe Reel                   2023 Crane           5’8    39

A player who can get hot from deep and move inside a few feet and continue the trend. She is very athletic, has good size and a strong frame. She is stronger than she seems and is great at playing inside and going up against taller players. Reel can also play up top.

 

 

Maci Sparks             2023 Licking          5’8    43

Sparks is thoughtful on the floor. She looks to others to make plays, but can flip a switch and do things for herself if she needs to and is comfortable. She plays well on defense and ran a good pace throughout all the games.

 

 

Team F Connor Hicks

(PLAYER, CLASS, SCHOOL, HT, NUMBER)

Chloe Cornelison    2023 Dadeville      5’10 27

A tall post player who brings size and length. She can block shots and finish through contact around the basket. Also a good rebounder on both ends.

 

 

 

Laney Humble         2023 Sparta          5’4    34

An impressive ball handler who knows how to get around defenders and disappear when she needs to. She plays with a solid pace and rhythm, something rare for her age. She can also score in a variety of ways and is great at passing and getting to the basket.

 

 

Payton Fuller           2023 Lebanon       5’8    30

Fuller has good height and length for her age. She can post up some and is good as a wing and slasher. She is competitive and can move in and out of the paint and even get a hand on some shots.

 

 

 

Kya Johnson            2024 Cherokee     5’6    8

Johnson looked good with the ball in her hands. She scored inside and out and showed she could handle defenders who were playing physical. She’s stronger than you’d expect and had some good passes and entertaining plays.

 

 

Payton Johnson       2024 Walnut Grove 5’4    9

A smart player who understands her role and can do things for herself or sacrifice her looks to help her team. She can shoot well at times and passes and looks to cut and score and defend.

 

 

 

Lauren Luebbert      2024 Warsaw        5’10 12

A tough player with size, strength and agility. Luebbert is still a young player but she brings a lot to the table. A hard working player who finds openings and rebounds and defends well for her age.

 

 

 

Hannah Medlock     2024 Licking          5’5    15

Another active player from Licking who uses her speed and agility and skill to find separation. She is creative with the ball and can play off of it well also. She looks to score, pass and pick off passes on defense.

 

 

 

Baleigh Miler           2024 West Plains 5’5    16

A quick player from West Plains who gets up the floor and stays on the ball defensively. She is aggressive for her size and can shoot and score against taller opponents inside and out. Alos a good passer.
